Ben Raute is a lifelong Watertown resident, spanning various eras in the town’s history. Watertown has changed over the years, both in landscape and demographics, and through it all, Ben has called Watertown home. He often contributed to the community through supporting local initiatives as well as donating his time as coach of the same youth sports teams he grew up playing.
Ben grew up on Edenfield Ave attending the West-Marshall School before later attending Watertown High School where he excelled as a student-athlete. He captained the varsity basketball and baseball teams and quarterbacked the varsity football team his senior year. He was inducted into the Watertown Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 and served on the Hall’s Board of Directors for over a decade. Ben also served on the Watertown Pop Warner Board of Directors in the 1990s.
After High School, Ben went on to graduate with honors from Boston State and has owned and lived in Watertown since, making a career in the sale and distribution of home and commercial building materials. Ben jumped into the Real Estate field during the last housing boom with D & V Realty and hasn’t looked back. By using his first-hand knowledge of the local real estate market, coupled with his extensive background and experience in the building materials industry, Ben is able to accurately assess the market value of both private residences and commercial property. A property’s current condition as well as it’s history factors into the value, but just as important is a property’s potential. Whether buying or selling, Ben has the skills necessary to get the best price for your home or commercial endeavor.
